Responsibilities and Duties
Design and develop software applications to implement a variety of network protocols.
Develop software applications to access device drivers, bootloaders and filesystems.
Perform network configuration and implement use of network monitoring tools.
Utilize debugging tools to identify discrete errors or memory leaks impacting application performance.
Support implementation, test and performance measurements of Software Defined Networks (SDN).
Manage, maintain, and report on all government funded GFE equipment on the task.
Produce technical reports from measurements performed on Software Defined Networks.
Communicate verbally with the project team on daily activities and progress.
Provide weekly input via Email to PGSC project manager for weekly report.
Provide verbal or eletronic communication to AFRL/RRS RITF project manager on request.
Qualifications and Skills
Must have or can obtain a Secret level security clearance.
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology or Computer Science.
Windows and Linux operating system experience.
Skilled in C/C++, Python, and Linux shell script programming languages.
Knowledge of network communication and software application development for networks.
Experience with network protocols such as IEEE 802.11, cellular, TCP/IP and multimedia session.
2-5 years of related experience preferred
