The Product Manager will lead the definition and delivery of product vision and business requirements for the Team Connect product/solution line, including both server and mobile applications. The Product Manager will work with the development team, sales personnel, senior company management, reference customers, and important channel partners in the planning and execution of a successful product line. Preferred location is company headquarters in Rome, NY.
The Product Manager will manage product development to include customer sales and engineering support. Manages development of PAR Government ISR products to include TEAM Connect, and associated elements of the product line. Must be able to coordinate, manage and document requirements, design, development, integration, installation, and sustainment of PAR Government ISR product lines. Knowledge & Skills:
Candidate must have program management, product development, and software engineering experience. Must perform: staff allocations, estimates to complete (ETC), customer reviews, and management of product deliverables. Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and Word needed. Must be willing to implement and sustain ISO 9001:2015 and CMMI Level 3 Development (DEV) processes as they relate to product development and sustainment.
Ability to continually monitor product development status and plan for on-time and on-budget product completions. Recommend and manage staff hiring and allocations of staff to multiple simultaneous product development thrusts. Will support customer relationship management as well as key channel partners by gathering and prioritizing requirements and monitoring customer satisfaction.
Responsible for an initial year of product sales and support, with additional yearly revenue growth objectives for subsequent periods. Target amounts in the initial year and subsequent periods to be mutually agreed upon.
Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate (verbal and written) with PAR internal staff and customers.
